MADE FOR MORE: FROM BROKENNESS TO BELIEF

MADE FOR MORE: FROM BROKENNESS TO BELIEF. John 3:16–18 (KJV)In our message tonight, we were reminded that God's grace is greater than our past and His purpose is stronger than our failures. Using John 3:16–18, we saw that the gospel is not about condemnation, but about love, belief, and eternal life through Jesus Christ.I. Marked by Failure, but Not Defined by It We learned that while failure is part of the human story, it is never the final word for those whom God loves. John 3:16 reveals that God's love reaches into a broken world, offering salvation not based on performance, but on grace. Our past may mark us, but it does not define us when we are in Christ.II. Chased by Death, but Called to Destiny John 3:17 reminds us that Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but to save it. Though sin and death pursue humanity, God has already declared a greater destiny for those who respond to His saving purpose. In Christ, we move from merely surviving to living with eternal purpose.III. Chosen to Believe or Doomed to Refuse John 3:18 makes clear that belief is the dividing line of eternity. Salvation is a personal choice. Those who believe in Jesus are no longer condemned, while those who refuse remain separated from God. The message challenged us to understand that neutrality is not an option—each person must decide what they will do with Christ. This message called us to stop running from God and start trusting Him. No matter how broken we feel, we were created and redeemed for more—more than guilt, more than fear, and more than this world can offer. Through belief in Jesus Christ, we move from brokenness to belief, from judgment to grace, and from death to eternal life.
