A Crucified World

By his union with Christ in His death, the world had been crucified to Paul. The culture of unbelieving men, living in unbelief and in disregard of God and in pursuit of lasting satisfaction in things "under the sun," lost its charm for Paul. The attraction and allure of the world was gone. Christ was his all in all and the world was like unto a condemned felon hung upon a cross.
