Series Genesis
Jacob, fearful of meeting Esau, seeks to make atonement for his theft of the birthright and blessing by sending lavish gifts to his brother. Perhaps this will appease him. But after he sends his family across the river he is all alone. Someone begins to wrestle violently with him in the dark. Is it Esau taking revenge? As the wrestling match continues, it becomes clear to Jacob that he wrestles with no man, but God himself. See what happens and how it points to how Jacob may truly be secure.
