Help, Hope, and Happiness

This particular psalm demonstrates the great satisfaction that comes into the life of anyone who trusts in the LORD for help and hope.

It is a confidence that we all should want. How was the psalmist this confident and effusive when it came to praising the LORD? The answer is that a blessed, happy state is the result of meditation upon who God is. Once we think deeply upon God's character, it transforms the way we think and act. This is how joy, satisfaction, help, and hope enter into our lives. Psalm 146 carves out the path to help, hope, and happiness.
