Purpose: To see that Jesus’ genealogy fulfill Messianic prophecies so that we will consider Him worthy to live a Holy life for.
I. Jesus geneology shows us that the Old Testament was pointing towards Jesus before King David (v.4-6a)
II. Jesus geneology shows us that the Old Testament was pointing towards Jesus in King David (v.6a)
III. Jesus geneology shows us that the Old Testament was pointing towards Jesus after King David (v.6b-16)
