The Word

For our church service this morning, Pastor spoke on The Word - the Righteousness of the faith. In preparation of verses nine and ten, Verse 8 must be first understood. One may come to verses nine and ten and conclude that man must make a confession with his mouth, and if he does, he will bring about righteousness. However, we must understand what is meant by "The Word", the Word of Righteousness, that brought about righteousness knowing that, like Cain, we could not bring about righteousness on our own!
