Christmas Heroes

Perhaps eighteen months before the Child was born God began to assemble the players for the opening act of the greatest story ever told. They were young and old, rich and poor, kings and carpenters, wise men and shepherds, worshipers and blasphemers, angels and men. Some might say they were chess pieces on the board of history; hand-picked and carefully placed. Who were they? What can they teach us as Christmas approaches?
