Christ fulfilling the law

There are many and varied opinions as to the relationship between Jesus Christ and the law. Is the law gone? Did Christ close up the OT? Is the OT no longer needed? Which law is being spoken of? The Moral law, civil law, ceremonial law?
Early on the public ministry of Christ He sets out to make plain His intention here on earth and his relationship to the OT. In this statement He says very plainly, that He is not come to destroy the law.
