After the "exposition" of Romans 1-11, Romans 12-16 is the "exhortation" that follows, based upon God's great mercies. And Romans 12:1-2 is the key to the application of the great doctrines of the the first half of Romans. And in Romans 12:1-2 we find the key to the Christian life--the renewing of the mind.

In this first of two sermons on Romans 12:1-2, a "primer on the Christian mind" is given to understand the importance and use of the mind from the Scripture and its teaching on the relationship between the mind and emotions.
