Unto Us a Child is Born

Why is it that men are to rejoice and to believe that they can find true and lasting joy in the Baby Jesus being born at Bethlehem? It is because these good tidings are for all people, not just some people. When we believe in Him we are gathered to Him as a part of the great harvest of souls. And when we continue to believe and learn to walk with Him by keeping His word, then we bear fruit to him which produces a harvest of righteousness to His glory. Surely this is a cause of great rejoicing.
