Sins remembered no more

We know from nature that unresolved offences disrupt relationships - how much more the offence of man's sin against a holy God? There can be no true, saving knowledge of God while the barrier of sin remains.

In Heb 8.10-11 the Lord speaks in terms of closest intimacy, grounded in the sovereign declaration of verse 12. God restores right relationships with him through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ the Righteous. Here is pardon free, full, fixed and final, a rich blessing in itself and the foundation of the other covenant blessings we enjoy.
