1. Paul does not oppose marriage (1 Corinthians 7:1-6, Ephesians 5:25).
2. Paul also speaks from the context of "present distress" (Verse 26, Luke 21:23).
3. Note how Paul uses the terms concern/anxiety and virgin/betrothed.
4. Paul is raising awareness with a general principle.
5. And so, in marriage, put the cares of this world in perspective.
6. Seek undistracted/undivided devotion to Christ.
