Committing Your Soul to Christ

We rest upon the truth that God has established peace between ourselves and Himself through what He has done through Christ and His shedding His precious blood for our souls. Since Christ purchased our redemption there, the Father brought Him up from the dead, thus establishing Him as the great Shepherd of us, the sheep, based upon the fact that in the everlasting covenant plans and provision was made for this. We rest in the fact that because Christ has accomplished redemption and has given us His Holy Spirit to abide with us forever, that we shall be made complete in every good work to do His will. His grace covers us, and His grace makes us complete in relation to every good work that we go about to do, in order to do His good will. He works in us that which is well pleasing in His sight, through our Lord Jesus Christ. And so, to the Triune God belongs glory forever and ever!
