4. Matthew Henry - The Practice of Prayer

Four preachers from the English Puritan era of the 17th century. The period of King Charles 1 & 11; Oliver Cromwell; William of Orange; the Great Ejection and  Black Bartholomew's Day on August 24 1662.
 
The final study looks at the ministry of Swiss born Pierre Viret, a close friend of John Calvin. Viret, an outstanding gospel orator but largely forgotten Reformer was born in the Swiss village of Orbe, near Lausanne.
