Christ's Instructions Regarding the Revelation

The vision of Jesus Christ as recorded by John is to serve as a reminder to believers of the glory, majesty, and holiness of Christ. It will provoke a genuine fear of the Lord with reverence, respect, awe, and a great desire to please Him. John's response of falling at His feet was appropriate even with his personal relationship with Christ during His earthly ministry. Christ Himself then gave John the instructions of what to do with the vision he was receiving along with the outline of what it was to include. He recorded what he had seen as the revelation began, the things which are as the church age continues, and the things to take place after the church age concludes in the future.
