The Intent of the Law, part 1

The Covenant made with Adam was both a Covenant of Grace and of Law. Adam did not have to “work” for the favor of God. He was a son and called to Covenant obedience. Adam was to obey God's Law. Both Law and Grace are Covenantal aspect of the Kingdom's program. The Covenant structure is to be applied to all spheres of life defining the redeemed as children of Grace and Children of Law.
