The Bible – God’s Word for Our Lives07
Series New Beginning
The Bible – God's Word for Our Lives. In this lesson, we are reminded that the Bible is not merely a collection of writings, but the inspired Word of God given to guide, teach, and equip believers. According to 2 Timothy 3:16–17, all Scripture comes from God and carries divine authority. Because it is God-breathed, the Bible serves as the final standard for doctrine, correction, and righteous living, preparing God's people for every good work.We also explored the many benefits of God's Word. The Bible instructs us in truth, convicts us when we stray, corrects our course, and trains us to live in a way that honors God. Psalm 119:105 describes God's Word as a lamp and a light, showing us how to walk faithfully through life, even in times of uncertainty or darkness. Finally, the lesson emphasized the importance of studying and applying the Bible. God's Word is most effective when it is read regularly, studied thoughtfully, and obeyed willingly. As believers, we are called not only to hear Scripture, but to live it out daily, allowing God's Word to shape our attitudes, decisions, and actions. When we do, we experience spiritual growth and a closer walk with the Lord.
