Judgment and Mercy at Sodom

The names Sodom and Gomorrah live in infamy -- their wickedness is legendary. There God manifested His glory by displaying His righteous judgment on evildoers. The Bible says this judgment is a foreshadowing of the eternal judgment to come. But God's judgment also magnified His mercy, for there too He delivered "righteous Lot" -- who is a lot more like us than we may at first concede.
