The Command to Be Saved from this Perverse Generation

The audience to Peter's Spirit-filled, Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated sermon was "cut to the heart" and asked, "what shall we do?" And the first two commands given on this historic and first sermon of the New Covenant church was to Repent and to be Baptized. Then the third command was to be Saved from this Perverse Generation (and to the New Covenant Church). This still holds true to us today.
