Saul and Seems Right Doctrine

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25) Seem right doctrine got the nation of Israel into trouble for wanting a King. The King they wanted got in trouble for invoking seems right doctrine as well. It's a cautionary word about God's people doing what "seems right" rather than doing what the Lord said.
