No Fear?

There was a time when God the Son did not have to say, "Do not be afraid" to His creation. It was then that He walked with Adam and spoke to Adam, unfettered by fear. Even when He spoke to John while upon the earth, He did so with veiled glory. Whenever Jesus reveals Himself in His holy, transformed glory, sinful men are filled with great fear. They fall at His feet as if dead. This is what happened to John, the disciple whom Jesus loved. This happened to John the apostle, an elder of the churches. He is probably the most respected human believer on the earth at this point. Yet he needed Jesus to dispel fear and to sustain him in order to fulfill the command to write. Don't believe in the lie: No Fear!
