The God Who Keeps His Promises

God always keeps His promises. Jesus promised Paul that he must preach the Gospel in Rome and before kings and rulers there. Nothing will stop Paul from going to Rome, not the Jewish council or the assassins. God is sovereign and is orchestrating all things so that His will is accomplished. God cannot lie, His word will be fulfilled. God's Word is food to sustain us, in which He gives His precious promises to help us grow into His image. His Word is also for comfort, to know and trust Christ in the midst of suffering.
