The Mystery of the Holy Place

One of the greatest things about Christianity and the Christian life, is growth. Growth in grace and growth in knowledge. Just when you think you have come to see all that there was on a certain subject— more light is given, new connections are made, fresh insight brings greater illumination so that we come to see things even clearer than before. That is what progressive revelation is like. The mystery of the holiest place on earth was concealed by the outer tabernacle but revealed in the coming of Christ and in the New Covenant. Hebrews gives us three additional ways to see this.
