Wanted: Men - Lead and Pray

In 1 Tim. 2:8, Paul returns to the topic of prayer in the church's corporate gatherings and begins to instruct about the distinct roles of men and women in the church. Scripture--from the beginning--clearly teaches that men and women are equal in worth, but are created purposely different and for different roles.

For the men, Paul desires that they be leaders, and, specifically, leaders in prayer. Oh, that our churches would be filled with such men who would lead in the home and church with holy lives and holy hands in prayer.
