The Sweet Exchange

We should have a dep emotional attachment to the idea of justification. Martin Luther had a hyper-overscrupulous conscience. But it was overturned in the wondrous exchange. Romans 1: 16 and 17 was a torment to Martin Luther before he was converted, until he saw a legal rememdy for his guilt. The judgment of God for our sins is a legal reality. Justification is the center of the Gospel. Oh what a sweet and wondrous exchange. It feels so good to be justified!
