I. What is the Biblical definition of a Christian?

B. It finds its significance in relationship to Christ.

II. How can I have real assurance?
A. v. 6 – Because it is God's work.

B. v. 6 – Because God brings it to completion

III. How can I tell if God has been working in my life?
A. v. 5 -- participation in the Gospel
