The testimony of the scars

Testimony is proof. Here Jesus received scars for a testimony. The first being that He is the sacrifice required by God. Jesus was the last passover lamb needed. His scars also are a testimony of His love and all that He endured for us. All of the rejection and mocking, even what goes on today, is summed up in those scars. Those scars are there for our healing; cleansing in all those areas where we have need. He was the perfect man put on trial, for us. Truth is the record of those scars, and they are there for our benefit. Because we need the testimony of forgiveness they give us.
