Phoebe, Sister and Servant

Three headings are used to study Phoebe. Phoebe considered deals with her name, her home and the likelihood that she was the bearer of Paul's letter to the Romans. Phoebe characterized deals with her as 'our sister' and 'a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea.' Phoebe commended deals with Paul's commendation of her that she might be heartily welcomed upon her arrival and his explanation, 'for she herself has also been a helper of many and of myself as well.'
