God is Good and Knows Everything, Pt. 3

Preliminary Observations
One, How truly sinful man is.
Two, How everything (in vv. 1-18) is a choice between pleasing ourselves or pleasing God.
God Knows Everything
A. What it means

1. He knows you better than you know yourself.
2. He knows everything that will happen in your future.
3. He knows exactly what you need at every moment of your life!
4. God’s knowledge of everything is necessary!
   B. How it impacts us
5. It will guard and regulate our acts of piety (vv. 1-18).
6. It helps us in our Prayer (Mt. 6:7, 8, 9-13).
7. It enables us to trust Him for the future.
8. We can be certain that His prophecies and promises are sure to pass!
9. Nothing we do can ever surprise God!
10. Gives comfort to us as we pray for our loved ones!
11. It means, God knew the worst about us and still sent His Son to die for us (Rom. 5:8).
