Exodus 62 - Golden Calf Struggle of Faith

Commonly depicted as rejection of God, the Golden Calf incident actually depicts faithlessness in the God of Moses. They needed a symbol of their true god who led them from Egypt to unify them so they could go forward to the Promised Land. Their lack of faith mirrors our lack of faith in God during our period of waiting for His return and our development of idols to unify us.
