Genesis 24 - Calling of Rebekah

Since Isaac is the one through whom the messiah would come, the selection of Isaac's bride has significant importance. Abraham instructed his chief servant to go to the land of his birth and select a suitable bride from the children of his family and bring her back to be wed to Isaac. The story is profound and even distasteful to our modern palate, but nonetheless there are incredible symbolism that is shown in this section, and the selection of Rebekah displays God always does what is best.
