We live in a rapidly changing world where fear in our lives will have a paralyzing ungodly affect. This lesson examines what sustains a Christian in times of trial, persecution, suffering. The word hope shows up in scripture many times in passages dealing with trying times in a believers life. We look at what this word hope means and how it works in the believers life. Peter insists the apostles must obey God rather than men. We also examine the Hebrew midwives and there refusal of the Pharoah order to kill the male new born babies of the Jews in Egypt.
