The Lord is My Shepherd

This little Psalm is a powerhouse of comfort for all the saints of the Lord. It has been a comfort and an encouragement to countless of the Lord's people down through the generations of time, and it is perhaps the portion of Scripture most memorized by believers who need to be reminded of the Lord's faithfulness and His goodness to them. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Great and Good Shepherd who is being spoken of in these verses. I would like to bring the comfort and encouragement of the gospel to you this afternoon. And so, I will attempt to set forth the truth of verses 1-3a to you of what the Lord does in salvation. And also what He does to feed and nourish and strengthen the souls of the sheep who belong to Him; all of His dear people, who come to love His care over their lives.
