Prayer that Pleases God

How we behave as the people of God matters. In these verses, Paul begins to describe the workings of a healthy church, and he begins with prayer. God delights in and desires his people's prayers. As the church, our prayer ought never become rote or reserved for a select few. Rather, Paul (driven by the Spirit of Christ) calls us to embrace a prayer life that is far-reaching and fruitful! Such prayer is good and pleases God, which ought drive us to devote ourselves to it with wholehearted zeal!
