Series Leviticus
The priest and the trespass offering (vv.1-7).
More provision for the priests (vv.8-10).
The priests and the peace offerings (vv.11-34).
i. A feast for the Israelites = ceremonial (vv.12-21).
ii. Eating fat and blood (vv.22-27).
iii. The priests portion (vv.28-34).
Towards the end of this sermon I referred back to Leviticus 3 and mentioned that I had come to the conclusion that eating the blood of animals was forbidden. However, I have studied the matter further since and my view is again that the eating of blood is lawful (although not commanded!). Please refer to my sermon on Genesis 9:3-4 "Eating Blood: Is it still forbidden?"
