The Interpretation of Scripture - 1

This lesson is part 1 of 2 parts dealing with paragraph 9 of the London Baptist Confession of Faith which reads:
'The infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture is the Scripture itself: And therefore when there is a question about the true and full sense of any Scripture (which is not manifold but one) it must be serached by other places that speak more clearly.'

This is an excellent lesson dealing with the subject of hermanutics and Bible interpretation. Origen's 4 fold method of interpretation is weighed and found wanting. Application is made that many are misusing Scripture in our own day by not following sound rules of interpretation.
