A Diligent Focus Not an Arrogant Complacency

Purpose: Paul wanted to communicate to the church that he had not yet arrived to full spiritual maturity or complacency in his service to God, so that they would embrace a similar humility and purpose by God's grace to continue to grow spiritually and serve Him faithfully.
Proposition: God wants us to grow, not stagnate.
