Trusting, Testing, and Blessing (Malachi 3:6-12)

In this section of our exposition of Malachi's prophecy, we now come to perhaps the most famous section in the book: God's challenge to His people to tithe. This is an incredibly important passage for us as we consider the obedience which God commands in our giving, but we also must consider that in this passage, God is calling us to give in such a way that requires an exercise of true faith. And this is not a vain exercise: God promises that as we trust Him with our giving, He will open up the floodgates for blessings beyond anything we can imagine!
