Life in the Early Church

Luke provides us a wonderful description of life in the early church while under the direct oversight of living apostles. We see in the four characteristics of church life the very marks of a Spirit-filled church, without the man-made distortions of our present entertainment-oriented culture. It stands in stark relief to what we find in many of our modern so-called evangelical churches. Acts 2:42 and 43 describe the church as the Spirit of the Lord Jesus intends her to be.
