Jesus' Death and Burial

The Gospels of Matthew and Luke give an account of Jesus' birth. But Interestingly enough all four gospels devote the largest portion of scripture describing the death of Jesus Christ. This passage of Matthew details why Jesus died. Jesus bore OUR guilt and sins when he hung on the cross. Apart for the atoning work He did on the cross we'd have no hope for forgiveness.
