17 Having a Sound Mind

God has commanded that we must have a sound mind

II Timothy 1:7

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (KJV).
The person with a sound mind views himself realistically. Look at how the Bible describes this person:

Romans 12:3

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith (KJV).
