“Reformed” when used with reference to Christianity is connected to the Protestant Reformation, which literally means to witness for going back to Biblical forms, structure, order, etc.
Soli Deo Gloria: Biblical revelation/authority over human imagination/tradition.
Solus Christus: Mediation of Christ by the appointed means of grace over individual experience
Sola Scriptura: The clear, plain, and whole counsel of the words of Scripture over all influence of humans and institutions.
Sola Fide: Faith alone as the gift and instrumental means for free justification with God over bare external rituals.
Sola Gratia: Salvation from the unmerited favor of God over any combination with good works or election based on foreknowledge.
