Honor for Elders

Paul gives several instructions concerning treatment of elders. Worthy elders should receive double honor, which is a reference to financial compensation. Sinning elders should be rebuked before all, but only if they are accused by two or three witnesses. Aspiring elders must be patient. Christ has set forth his process for bringing in elders and dealing with sinning elders.
