Bildad and Job

Bildad now begins to lecture Job. He basically gives "Prosperity Gospel" arguments that if Job were righteous then God would prosper him with earthly possessions. Job responds that he knows that he is not righteous (original sin versus individual sin) but Bildad is not able to give him hope. Job longs for an advocate that could go between man and God which Jesus Christ will be the only one who can fulfill that role.
