1 Peter 1 -Part53 - Preparation for Suffering 53

As the tide turns against believers in this nation, it is good to remind ourselves of what is expected of us and what has been provided for us, so we may be prepared if and when we come under intensified persecution for Him. This is a study of the need to gird up the loins of our minds in preparation for suffering for our Lord. The lesson is that we are to be prepared in our minds for suffering for Him and our confidence is not to be in the things of this life but in the sure things of our hope in all His promises to us when He comes back for His body the church. Peter calls us to holiness in all our behavior and here we will start with a study of our positional sanctification, that is, our being made forever holy by the work of Jesus Christ.
