Seek God

One of the best things we can do is to serve God, but the best thing is to seek God. Seek His presence, His face, and His will. Before we go play, watch T.V., go to work, eat or anything else we need to seek God. He sought us long before we thought about Him. God is the only one who once you have you are still required to seek Him. The woman here is a picture of the church in these last days. She started looking in comfortable places. The cross isn't comfortable; neither are the places He will send us. But a watered down message to make people comfortable with God is not of God. We have got to get out of our comfort zone. Then she looked in the carnal places. Christians aren't to look in the world to find God; we are to bring the world to God. Where God is, is where we will get the desires of His heart. But until we desire God we won't get God, so we must seek Him. This woman had been disappointed because she tried finding him where she knew to look. She spent days looking just like we can spend years looking but in the end we find Him and that He had been waiting for us to just come to Him. Finally she made a decision, a decision to make him want to stay. She got cleaned up and wanted nothing to do with anything that would disturb him. We need to do the same; He'll stay once you are saved but we need His power to also stay. We need to clean up our lives so we can fully embrace Him.
