Solus Christus: Christ Alone
Series Doctrines of the Reformation
This sermon considers the reformation doctrine of 'Christ Alone' making clear that the biblical testimony is that only God is worthy of worship and that Jesus is alone as the way to God and the mediator between God and man.
This doctrine is at odds with what was taught in the Roman Catholic church that taught people to pray to saints. But is it still an issue? Yes. In fact, much of the Roman Catholic teaching about Mary was not codified until the late 19th and mid 20th Century.
