In this verse there are two action verbs, in the present tense. The first verb talks of what the Word is and the second speaks of what the Word does. It can go where it needs to go, to see what it needs to see, to do what it needs to do, so we can be who we need to be.
Yes, God knows your heart, but the question is does He have your heart? Do you know His heart?
