Soul-winning A Major Priority (Excuses Answered)

This message examines soul-winning (witnessing, discipleship) as a major part of what should be our Christian focus regarding our lives. It also looks at some of the common excuses Satan deceives people into believing, to avoid this focus. We examine the influence of Rogerian psychology on American Christianity in the 20th century, blossoming its toxic fruits in the 1970s, etc. Specifically, we examine the self-love movement, and how that led to a sinfully self-conscious generation, shunning "other-oriented" focus. Is being shy a good excuse for hiding the life-saving truth from perishing souls? And what about those who attempt to use God's sovereignty to excuse laziness? The sermon shows some keys to overcoming self-conscious timidness, and laziness.
