How to Win the War on Terror

The West is not winning the War on Terror because government programs cannot change human nature. We cannot bring about liberty by force of arms because military might is not able to change human nature. Religion cannot pacify warring people because 'spirituality' cannot change human nature. Indeed, history demonstrates that religion has often been a destructive force for bigotry and persecution. What people need is to be born again. Without the Holy Spirit's gift of a new heart, people will continue to hate their enemies. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. A free society is a direct by-product of the Lord Jesus Christ transforming individuals through the proclamation of the gospel. You, too, can help win the War on Terror by praying for the Muslims in your community, by befriending them and getting to know them, and when the Lord opens the door, by sharing the Lord Jesus with them.
